Armchair and pair of chairs, 1931-1932.
Demountable construction in S-shaped steel tube, originally with red lacquer finish. The shape itself ensures sprung suspension in cantilever.
Steel tube seat and backrest – originally with red lacquer finish – are bolted to frame and carry metal mesh and original cushions. Armrests in solid beech.
This armchair was designed for the entrance hall and rooms of the Latitude 43 hotel at Saint-Tropez.
70 x 67,5 x 98 cm.
Two examples of this armchair, plus a chaise longue and four chairs – all from the Latitude 43 hotel – were purchased in 1998 by the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris from Eric Touchaleaume.
Pair of chairs
Base frame in lacquered steel tube, seat and backrest in folded sheet steel. One chair with bright red lacquer finish, the other green.

As mentioned above, four of these chairs – all from the Latitude 43 hotel – were purchased in 1998 by the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris.
