Model for wall shelves created for the Ecole Nationale Professionnelle de Metz.
This piece was given as a gift by Jean Prouvé to one of his grandsons.
‘Aircraft wing’ vertical profiles cut to oblique at lower ends, made in folded sheet steel with grey lacquer coat.
The two shelves in solid oak are shaped to fit into notches cut on the leading edge of each vertical.
Fixation elements are hidden, embedded behind the wing profiles to ensure perfect mounting of the shelves onto the wall face.
