‘Tambour’ pedestal table for the entrance hall of the Manik Bagh Palace, c. 1930.
In walnut veneer and black lacquered pearwood, with an asymmetrical construction and a round top on a cylindrical body, opening via four curved doors to an interior fitted with wood and glass shelves. Alpaca pull handles.
At least two copies were produced, appearing in period photographs of the reception lounge in the entrance hall of the Manik Bagh.
