Parvine Curie sculpts wood, preferably tropical and often in the form of dark beams. From it, she creates archaic architectural forms evoking megalithic alignments, Mesopotamian mastabas, the kasbahs of the Atlas… These forms, which emerged during the 1970s, are reassuring and protective. They are called Mother-Anatolica, Mother-Labyrinth, Mother-Citadel, Mother-Walls, Mother-Fortress…

Still as active, this great and beautiful lady has tenaciously carved her path for fifty years. Undoubtedly, her strong and personal work will endure in history.
