Charlotte Perriand (1903-1999)
Bathroom wall cabinet, 1952
Frame: three interior uprights and racks in solid padauk, two sliding doors in smooth grey lacquered aluminum sheet, with profiled handles in solid exotic wood, sipo (?). Back and shelves in ivory lacquered laminated wood. Two solid padauk towel rails slide into three ivory lacquered steel sheet supports fixed under the cabinet.

Manufacture
-Ateliers Jean Prouvé for the supply of smooth grey lacquered aluminum sliding doors and probably the ivory lacquered steel sheet towel rail supports
-Chetaille for the red wood (sipo) handles and probably the red wood towel rails as well
-Probably local for the frames, whose assembly is quite rough
Good condition, restored. Doors, back, and shelves repainted to match the original
